Friend just found out he has a brain tumor. Everyone hoping it is not malignant.
Tire on hay trailer is rotten and going flat.
What do I do?
Just combining two threads to save time. LOL

Gordo,Prayers for your friend.

Isn't there truck tires that will work on the farm wagon?? Might take a chance on a tire dealer who has changed out a set that will fit.Sure hope this helps.

Do you have a place local that sells airplane tires for ag use? Even if bald they last forever. It is also lots harder to pop them off the bead if you drop it off a ridge or something (dang hay rake).

I had a cousin who was more like a kid brother to me, they removed a brain tumor and it came back, the doctor jokingly told him that he was going to install a zipper for easy access. I think he went through the same procedure a total of three times before it finally took its toll. I sincerely hope your friend fares better.

Reading Shadetrees response,I will let you know, that during my military stint in Vegas, there was an underground bomb blast that got away from them. Windows blew out of barracks, dust over everything, small mushroom cloud appeared making it necessary for all on base to wear a plastic disc with micro film inside. Numbers on tags were assigned to individuals that was in 1956.That information can be googled. My first born daughter reached the age of 51 before losing her to cervical cancer, had previous bouts with different cancers (growth on back that was cut out) leading me to believe some genetic pass on to her although thank goodness I am not reflecting any type of cancer. While I was stationed in the barracks,at the time of the explosion, I had a friend who played guitar like Chet Atkins, upon his discharge he married and moved to Fulsom,California, where he was diagnosed with cancer in the muscles around the heart. He was subjected to cobalt treatment, which seemed to solve that problem, however a year later he was diagnosed with a frontal lobe tumor, didn't make it.Damn malignancy. Again my prayers are sent to your friend hoping for a successful operation and complete recovery.
Warmest regards,
LOU

Gordo,
Praying for your friend, had a friend also about 10 years ago with brain tumor, was removed, turned out to be begnin, hope the same for them

Hope for the best on the brain tumor. Lost my best friend"s wife in February--they removed a malignant brain tumor in January, but the cancer ended up being in multiple places. She had no idea that anything was wrong at Thanksgiving...so sad.

As for the tire problem, it would depend on how bad the tire looks. If not too bad, I would add about a pint of Slime and see how it holds up. If the tire looks too bad, I would probably try to replace it with the highest ply used truck tire I could find that would fit. Good luck!

A friend's wife had a tumor in her breast about two inches in diam. (Yes, she was in denial for awhile) They are missionaries in Argentina. She came home to a hospital in Boston where she got preliminary tests and MRI. A lot of people at a lot of churches were praying for her. She went back for another MRI just before starting Chemo and it was gone.
