Stopped by my local parts house. Got to talking about new rules for old tractores needing to be up graded to pass smog requirements. Hope he's wrong. I think some older trucks already need to be up graded. If that happens I will just quit mowing. The guy also told me a man was mowing without a contractors license, and is facing a 10,000 fine. This is in calif. So it may not effect other states. For some reason we always get dumped on here in Calif by out state leaders. stan
 
Why in the world do so many people live there,as bad as it is? I'm sorry,but it doesn't take that many people to cut the trees,load the ships and farm the Central Valley.
Outside of that,I just don't see a reason to live there.
 
The folks here absolutely hate the tree huggers of Calif. We get regulations on how much emmssions our push lawn mower can put out and all kinds of thing that probably affect the folks out there but in the wide open rural areas just do not need the regulations you folks come up with. Haven,t heard of having to up date old tractors here, maybe that one will stay out west.
