Farmall H Live hydraulic pump question

Ya was just wondering if anyone knows any good cheaper websites that i could find a Live Hydraulic Pump for my Farmall H Tractor?

also how do i find out what year my H tractor is?

Serial numbers are found to the left toward bottom showing the year.
If your plate is unreadable, the major casting date markers will do it. They are raised cast in numbers and letters with a screw head between the groups. Check the archives for the meaning of the letter (year) info.
A tractor built from mid 1951 through the early super H stage I will have a strong cam drive gear and the correct bolt pattern to allow a live hydraulic to be used from any stage II SH on through 350 tractors (IH or Farmall) no other Farmalls will have the right parts. The belly pump can be used as a 6 quart reservoir, or a separate reservoir adapted. The valve will need a pressure regulator built in to it set to 1200 to 1500 PSI. If your tractor is older, the only realistic solution is to use the cam gear and front cover off of a doner tractor as above. Acompleter setup from a Stage II super H would be easiest and have all needed components. Jim
