I have a New Holland TC30 that will start fine but as soon as I put it in gear it dies. Does anyone have any suggestions.

I have searched the internet for a wiring diagram and can't locate one.

Does it die as soon as you put it in gear, even without letting the clutch out? If so, its probably the weight sensor under the seat, that prevents you from starting it without sitting in the seat.

As far as a wiring diagram, if you can't find one on the internet, you may have to break down and buy a manual.

I would guess a faulty seat safety switch, even though you are sitting on the tractor, the switch is designed to let the tractor run if you get off as long as the transmission is in nuetral but to shut off within a few seconds if the tractor is in gear with no one in the seat. I would check the seat switch and see if it may just need cleaning or have a bad connection.
