HEY RRLUND & anyone else going to Oakley

I'm not going to Oakley Friday, only Saturday. I got the crud between the ears and it's messing with my balance and don't want to stay in the tent over night. So anyone coming on Friday, I wont be seeing you, and sorry about that, maybe next year. Jack.

Paul, I'm not sure where we'll meet if Jack's tractor's not there yet.
It may help if you look for one of these fine looking gentlemen though!
I'll be wearing a bright orange AC hat this year just so I look more geeky!

Hope you get feeling better. I still plan on being there earlier Sat. I will be wearing the official red Double R Farm hat. Say "Hello" if you see me wandering around. I will probably be looking like I'm lost with a handfull of misc. hardware I brought at the flea market.

Is this better than Buckley? Went to Buckley last year, not a whole lot of tractors, way to many flea market people and food. In your opinion, is Oakley more worth the money? Both are about the same distance from my place, so travel doesnt matter.

I prefer it. Over 600 tractors there last year. Lot's of parts vendors new and used,trailer loads of used parts,a row of tractors for sale in various states of repair.Most of the flea market stuff is tractor related. There are all the usual demonstrations. Sawmill,threshing,field demos,operating metal shop,handle making shop,beer tent,pulls of every kind on two or three tracks,not to mention the presence of a bunch of YT'ers.

One of the fellows from there club told last year they had over two thousand tractors counting all the pullers coming in and out.

We went today and it was a sea of tractors!!!!

All colors in the rows, several steamers also.

This was about the best weather I have seen for this show.
