Annual Badger Steam Gas Show this weekend

This weekend (16th-18th) is the time for the annual Badger Steam & Gas Show, the biggest "old iron" show in the state of WI.

Location is about 5 miles SW of Wisconsin Dells. Bring the wifey and kids to a water park/motel in the Dells, and you can enjoy the day with us.

I'll be there with 2 tractors, a 2-16" IH #8 plow and a Whirlwind Terracer. You can rest under my sun shelter on one of my chairs and we can trade stories (or lies, whatever you wish!). Look for the white shelter and my equipment.

Lots of good food, hundreds of tractors, steam powered threshing, lots of shade, no mud, great temps!

I'm thinkin' of rolling up that way Saturday after lunch. Got a small chunk of hay to drop (about 4 acres), but will head up the super-slab at that point. I'll keep my eyes peeled for the terrace plow. I don't expect to see more than one of those up there. (Though I did see two one year down at the Thresheree in Edgerton.)

A great show, a shame I can't make it this year(family health issues). If you want to take in the flea market as well, plan on 2 days, because one will not be enough.

Darn! Forgot that is was this weekend. Haven't missed the show for last 5 years. Camping w/grandkids, but MAY be able to get there Sunday.
