1946 JD B question

This has a delco distributor. The book calls for a wyco magneto with points set at .015. Should the points on the Delco be set at .022 to the distributor or .015 for what the book calls for if there was a magneto?

ONLY the Wico Mag uses that narrower 0.015 points gap, if its a Delco Distributor ignition system use that 0.022 setting.

Some B's used Wico C or X or AP mags or FM mags or even Wico XB Distributors, but the battery powered coil distributior ignitions were mostly the Delco brand.

.022" on the dist. and actually many of the mags will perform better if the points are set at .018" instead of .015" especially in a more worn unit.
