I told you it was time to pick corn

Just a few rows to limber up the picker. Need to finish job we are working on and then weather permitting we will set into picking and combining our 50 acres of corn. The big hurry is getting ahead of the grass, weeds, and morning glory vines.

You're makin me nervous. Some of our corn here in NWIA is just starting to fill. We have a looong ways to go. Good luck with harvest. Jim

Lots of corn is being picked here in SE NC. I haven't heard any numbers, but it looks like it will be a good crop except in the real wet spots.

I have corn that has not tassled yet! It will of coarse be chopped for silage.

If the wet weather keeps up around here, there might not be much corn in the bottoms to worry about picking. Some of the fields are still muddy and plants are about gone. Sad.
