Update on What was I thinking

It's gotten better. Seller of Cub Cadet called me after I got home from work today. Bad day at work and wasn't in a good mood. He ask what I had done to get it running. Apparently it's won't start again. Wanted me to tell him so his " Master Mechanic" son could get it running. Said He would appreciate the favor. Yesterday we had talked about $1200 for the cub, front end loader, and all attachments. Told him that offer still stands. I only took off the fuel line between the fuel pump and carb. Probably needs the tank , fuel line from the tank to the pump, and the pump removed and cleaned. After he back out of the sale on me, he has the nerve to ask me for a favor.

Tell him you will fix it but you get $100 per hour plus road time. He must be real stupid to not realize you would be mad about him backing out of a deal. I would not tell him a thing. Just state, like you did, the original offer to buy.

Must be the first time I disagree with you...re...fix it for $100 and road time. That loser would be blaming him next time it doesn"t start. I agree....be the man, stick to the original offer, or walk. Grief comes easily enough without grief like this.

Never told him what I did. Cub has been sitting for about 15 years, so I can imagine that the fuel tank needs a good cleaning

My ex wanted to find out if there was fire to spark plug of the outboard motor.

He stuck a screw driver in the spark plug boot and told me to hold it while he pulled the start rope.

There was plenty of fire and not all of it was from the spark plug boot.

Just one more reason why we're not married anymore.

Big RUH, what's he want for it now? Seems like a front loader for a Cub Cadet is pretty rare and worth more than $1,200, would be to me at least. The guy was still being a di..., err, idiot even after you helped him, then had the nerve to call you about fixing it again... unbelieveable!

$1200 was what seller was wanting for everything
Sunday before I got the cub running. As for as what
he wants now, I don't know. Remade my offer and he
hasn't given me a yes or no.
