One man post pulling made easier.

I thought some of you could use this idea.

I suppose I could go out and buy one of those tree/post pullers it would get limited use. I got tired of getting in and out of the loader twice to pull each post, this way I can setup three posts and pull them without getting out of the loader.

For the safety police, this may not be the best but it beats climbing out of the loader with the arms up to hook the chain.

I drove the forks through the coffee can and all three times the can was ejected to a safe area. No coffee cans were harmed in the making of the pictorial.

The supervisors name is Will, a female border collie.

It took me a while to figure out what you were doing. It appears you are simply holding the already attached(to the post) chain up with the coffee can and then sliding the pallet fork through the can and lifting the post. That's a pretty neat idea. I'll sure try to remember that trick. Actually, that's a GREAT idea....nothing worse than crawling in and out of a skid steer with the arms raised up.

Took me a while to figure it out, too.

Only problem is coffee cans are now plastic. Don't know if that will make a difference or not.

Good idea. I know a fellow he bought one of those 4 in 1 buckets ? It opens up and can grab posts and esay to pull them up and out.

Slick spacer. Cheap too!
Nice looking pup too.
From the looks of the sky you had some great weather to boot.

A 4 in 1 bucket is the ultimate post tool on a heavy enough machine. I can push posts in and pull them out with ease. Mind you mine is on track loader.
