Anyone here ever deal with Max Motors that"s on the TV show ? Just wondered if they are as crazy in real life and if you could actually get a deal ?
I might have to look him up and trade some tractors for a truck ?

Mark Muller also owns my local GM dealer which is 30 miles to the south of Butler but I've never seen him it..Besides owning the Ford-Chrysler dealer he also owned the GM dealer in Butler....He closed it and moved it down here when our dealer went out of business and the building sit empty for about a year...He is the only GM dealer for 150 miles on I-49 between Kansas City and Joplin..Just 4 years ago there were 5 dealers..

We actually tried to trade at Max's for a new 2011 Chevy Equinox but ended up getting one over in Kansas...Max Motors just couldnt make a dealer trade to get one equipped like we wanted..I have driven by the Butler dealership many times but have never been in it..

We watch the show because we know several of the people on it...Jason's (guy in the suit} grandma and my MIL are best friends....Jason is also the step brother to my neighbors wife..

rr,
The guy from Rose City Motors says he'll bring it to you--no need to go there, & he'll probably take your 1020 back with him.

Those shows are mostly staged and scripted. They had one on for three or four episodes about the Midway truck stop just
west of Columbia Missouri. They showed a neighbor of mine who supposedly had one of his steers get loose at the truck stop and they had a big roundup to catch it. It was as phoney as a three dollar bill.

Mark, where did you watch the Cal Worthington commercials? When I used to work in the Los Angeles area I used to see his commercials all the time down there.

Doc
PS: The dog spot is still in the parking lot where the dog left it. LOL.

Doc, as you might guess I spent a few years in LA. Cal Worthington Ford was and is in Long Beach. He has dealerships all over the west coast, but Long Beach was always his flagship.

According to Wikipedia, Cal is still alive and well at 92.
