shotgun stuff

Yes. I have my Dad's from when he was a young guy. Central arms brake open .410 tandom triggers, inclosed hammers. Pat, date is 1915. Many a bobwhite quail have been served for supper thanks to that gun. First shotgun that the grandkids got to shoot. A family keeper for sure.

There are side by side ones and my cousin has one that the barrels are on top of each other like an over-under gun.

So far as I can think, 410's were made in just about every configuration

Single shot
Over-Under
Side-by-Side
Bolt Action
Pump Action
Gas Semi-Auto
Long Recoil Semi Auto (Remington 11-48)

a 410 double is a bit rare and likely a bit pricey also.
I just checked Gunbroker.com - they had about 200 listed in 2 categories.
Why they have a category for "double barrel" and another for "side-by-side" escapes me.)

Gunauction.com (used to be auctionarms) had 50 something listed.

Be advised that a lot of sellers put a "starting bid" or "reserve price" ridiculously high, and they just re-list them over and over, hoping some fool falls for it. I have seen a few that were re-listed for a year or more.

Yes to your question.I have an 'over/under' 410/.22. 410 bore under a .22lr. Handy little 'shopgun' or truck gun...

I bought one new from cabela's a few years back. double barrel, side by side. shot one shell thru it. 20in barrel. I bought a Taurus .410 pistol, it suits my needs better. .410 db is for sale.

Dont sell it in Colorado! You will need to do a background check and may be liable if the new owner commits a crime with it.

(quoted from post at 15:10:16 08/05/13) Thanks. This is for wife and too many snakes. Not poisonous but pesky. Dave
I got a gun for my wife too. One of the best trades ever! ;)

They sold for 98.00 new.US makers gave up on double and single shot shotguns.H&R and NEF proved they made a mistake.

A 410 double will be high priced. An NEF single shot 20 gauge youth model would be a better choice. There are light loads for the 20 gauge.
