Need help! Super M EXPERIENCE!

Hey I need help to fix up my super M I live in Sheridan Indiana. Its not that big of an issue, I got it runnibg a month ago. But it wouldnt start since the time I put a new float in the carb. Idk whats wrong with it. But if anyone wants to help me! That would be awesome. Im 15 btw and not that experienced with the antiques.

How is the battery? When you put the carb back together is the float sticking to the gasket? Are you getting gas to the carb? IS the fuel filter (sediment bowl) plugged? If the float is just sticking, take a rubber mallet or something soft and tap the side of the carb and see if it comes unstuck. Maybe I can help you out.

I always had to be careful with those floats, they"re touchy. They can"t rub the sides of the float chamber, the depth it floats has to be set exactly, [and you have to know what the depth is supposed to be] the float has to gently push up the needle, but it can"t stick the needle.. just gotta be careful. But don"t feel bad, I"ve had to do and re-do my "H" several times.
