Well, I got into it this afternoon. repaired the wiring to the mower deck clutch which wasn't tough except for up in there and hard to get at. The fuse was tough though. As I suspected it was under the left console and impossible to get at without a fair amount of dissassembly. It appears that they don't want anyone but dealer techs replacing fuses. After I got it pulled a little ways apart which was all that the brake cable would allow, I could see a fuse block. The first one I pulled was blown and fortunately I had a spare. Not a very service friendly design.
