have any of you heard of Presto brand jars canning

Well I have 5qts and a pint of salsa in the hot water bath right now. By the way I also collect old canning jars like Atlas brand and came across this Presto brand jar today. I know of atlas and ball and mason but never seen the presto brand till now. So has any body heard of them and if so how old might it be??

I think my grandmother had some back around 1962. But most of her canning. Was done with Mason or Ball.

I think I have one or two. I have a Pepsi qt canning jar as well. Have a couple of blue jars, lot of interesting stuff out there if you look.

Old, I don't have any Presto jars, but I have 2 Eagle Mason jars like the one on the right. The one on the left just says Mason. The Eagle jars will not let a ring tighten down as the threads are way down on the neck. I was canning beans a few years ago and the rings kept turning and would not get tight.

Didn't know they were old. Guess I better go pick them up out of old chicken house and put them away. I found them in a trash pile when I was working in New Iberia, LA. Quite a few had the aluminum and glass lid.
