I recently purchased a 560 wheatland and have been working on the fuel system. I removed the tank to clean and in doing so removed lines. My question is about the return line at the bottom of the tank. When I was cleaning the elbow assembly on the return line, I took out the set screw and a spring fell out and possibly a small ball or a it might have been a chunk of dirt, not for sure. When I went to a dealer the cost for it was high and the mechanic said I did not need it. Was he correct? Was there no ball with the spring and set screw? Your help would be appreciated.
