I offered to fabricate a 3 point hitch implement and though it is nearly done it has taken about 50% longer than I expected, but that is the story of my life, LOL. I needed to drill some 5/8 holes and I had the bit but it wasn't doing real well. I tried sharpening it on my grinder which hasn't worked for me in the past but it worked great this time. It zipped right through the 3/8 stock. This evening as I was welding parts together I found myself looking at a vertical that I was going to have to weld. I have never had a lot of luck with vertical welds, but this project has gotten way to heavy to muscle around, so I gave it a shot. Surprised my self with a beautiful vertical bead so I went around looking for more. Some day I will have to read a book or watch a U-tube video and learn how to weld, but in the meantime I have to new skills.
