Need HELP wiring a Grasshopper

Long story shorter ... my son was mowing the yard .. got hot so took his T-shirt off hung it on the back of the seat ... little later he felt a tug ... you guess it ... the drive shaft , that goes from engine to the pumps .. had the shirt wrapped up around it ..
It took EVER WIRE around it OUT .. rip them up and tore anything up around it ..
NOW the BIG Question .. Does ANYONE have a idea what goes where ??
it has a 18 horse twin Kolor {sp} ..
I'm going to look closer tomorrow and see if I can match some wires by color ... not sure what else to do ...

Not sure on the year or model, but a quick Google search turned up
at least one wiring diagram for a Grasshopper 1822 if it helps.

Go to a site called The Mower Shop Grasshopper Specialists. They have wiring diagrams by models.

Tell your son to keep his clothes on while mowing. That open V-belt on the right side looks a little dangerous. Needs a guard over it. Nice looking machine.

Had a short take out the wiring harness in my MF180 this weekend. I had the factory diagram. Have been in electronics for a long time - 40 years as a ham radio operator, experience in mobile communications (emergency vehicles), taught electronics on the university level... The diagram was useless, and downright wrong... Had to skull it out on my own. Fortunately they used different colored and sizes of wire.
