560 hyd pump

Pretty sure my hydraulic pump died on my old jule 560 over the weekend. Can anyone describe to me how I go about replacing it??? changed the hyd filter about 20 hours ago so I"m assuming it isn"t plugged.. my loader won"t work, no power steering, hitch raises but just barely......

yep was a little low but filled it up with about a gallon!!

down by your feet there are three plugs try turning each see if it makes a difference also clean the filter screen

Left side of clutch housing, rectangular cover with the big hose, remove it after draining the oil from the transmission. measure the thickness of the gasket as that was how pump drive gear backlash was set.

Are you sure your filter is not plugged? Right side across from the pump. Kind of a hexagon shaped cover.

The power steering and hydraulics are on separate pumps. The steering pump is piggybacked unto the main pump. If they both failed at the same time I would look for a problem with the filter or on the suction side.

Thanks for all the advice, i'll deff pull the filter before i proceed futher, glad to hear it sounds like the pump isn't a total brain teaser to replace!!!
