Expensive Frick

Talked to the owner for awile . Was found in a fence row . He did not tell me how much he purchased it for . It was running, upon their second boiler inspection a bottom piece was cracked . 20,000 to fix that and untold amount in paint and restoration and you have a good sounding money pit . She ran strong testing the Hp.

very expensive no doubt but atleast there are some out there that are willing to spend it on preserving our farming past/heritage instead of calling the scrap man

she sure is a gem that I'm sure not to many or no one else has, hats off to the owner

Theres two Frick steamers at the Appalachian Fairgrounds in Gray Tn. I think I have some pics at home of them I will try to post later. Dollywood has a Frick steam engine sitting in the park.

Might be a money pit, but at least it's a NICE money pit!

There was a 12hp stationary steamer with vertical boiler in one of tour CLs here last week for $1K- and it ran. If I'd had the money I'd have got it. They fascinate me.
