Thanks or posting. Nice to see that some of the old steamers are still running. There are very few of them here in the N East. They all rusted out or froze from setting after retirement. Info from my 1914 Case price guide.
Thanks for posting the pics.

nice,Smoothdear, you have to be both passionate knowledgable about steam ,if not , one mistake will land you at the Pearly Gates...My Great Uncles and Granpas on both sides were Masters of Steam ,I know just enuf to be dangerous,, LOL , so I watch sine I have gotten wiser in my 57 yrs... I used to hear them tell stoies of getting up before milkin and breakfast ,on days they would thresh , The Very 1st thing they did was build the fire up to start workin on building a head of steam ,,mite take 3 hours sometime ,, I used to think that was kinda romantic tilm I gott 'a thinkin while draggin extension cords ,,battery chargers and jumpin cables down to the 4020 deer to start it in the winter.. after 3 hours of that ,, I realized my uncles had the same anguish ...and it is only romantic 50 yrs later ..lol .. Lanesville Ind ,Sept 14 weekend , this is CASE YEAR !...we usually have a minimum of 4 workin steamers there ,At nite we will FULL pull the Steamers on the sled track ,, turn the lites down and watch the Cinders FLY! , really a site to see ,aint no wonder Biscoff Family Tradition was to cut and load all the wheat closest to the train tracks back in those days .. LOL ..anyway we run a ,sawmill, power fan ,threshin ,and plowin ,,, We Have had close to 25 there ,,. a distant cuz' n Francis Lindaur of Ferdinand In , will bring up serveral ,. he has a twin piston Avery with a 12 inchheadlite ,,. Case 40 ,Keck - Gonnerman ?,, and a KITTEN,The KITTEN was built in Ferdinand Foundry ,somehow my mothers family is related to them thru the Kitten /Meyer bunch ,My Grandpa Frank helped build them in the winter monthes .its rainin like no end here this am ,
