Hay in RR Lund?

Looks like some good cloud cover coming across the lake. If it doesn't fall apart, you could get wet. Sure hope we get some.

Ya I just got online to check the radar. Hope it holds together. All I had to do was cut hay. Not complaining because the good it'll do will outweight the damage to that little bit of hay. I can always find some use for it no matter what shape it's in.

Hope RayP(Mi) gets some of this one too. That one that I got yesterday formed south of him.

I had .35 yesterday. Quite a surprise when the chance of rain was around o. That was the biggest event I'd had in a while. Most of those when I was haying were just little cloudbursts that didn't do much more than get the hay wet.

A few days ago the 5 day was for chances like 0%,10%,O again and so on. Now they're saying things look a little more damp.

Sure could use some, didn't get any yesterday.
Had a catastrophy with my main tractor - MF 180.
Went to start it Friday to move the baler over to pole barn for repairs. Battery dead, very dead, couldn't get it going with portable battery, had to jump start it with car. Just as I pulled up to the barn door - smoke under the hood, and dash. Shut it down, pulled the battery cable. Took me most of today to expose enough of the wiring harness to splice in new wires, and replace all the parts & panels. Started it up and seemed to run OK. Still have to pull that sprocket and replace the bearing on the baler pickup. But first good weather I get, will be out cutting oats with grain binder so can be taken to the steam show next month. Got three loads of hay under cover still need to be stowed in the barn, and about 20 acres of first cutting to do. If I don't get some rain, there may be no second cutting....

Eureka and Hallelujah!!! We're getting a nice rain. Based on Doppler it should last for a few minutes. My one corn plot was close to becoming buckwheat or millet. Still might. Other plot is tasseling so it's safe. Hope it stays north too.
