I have have a JD 4610 with a hydrostatic transmission. It has @1,000 hrs. Diesel. Strong engine, good maintenance.
The problem- When I move the tractor in any gear it bogs down sometimes to an almost stall. It gets better after I have run it say for 1/2 hr. but returns to sluggishness on the next start up. I have changed all hydraulic filters and the problem remains. We are 80 deg. F so it not a cold weather problem. Brakes are released and will slow the tractor when operated.
Engine has plenty of power when using attachments such as loader or back hoe.
Any ideas?
