3010 John Deere Clutch question

Hi Everyone,

Had a quick question on my 3010, when we are raking hay with the tractor I can feel the clutch slipping when driving up steep inclines. Just wondering if anyone would be able to advise me on how to tighten the clutch so it doesn't slip? Thanks for your help.

Does the clutch pedal have any free travel? If not, loosen the bolt in the slot near the bottom of the pedal and move it up in the slot until you have 1.5 inches of free travel at the top of the pedal. If you already have free travel and it is slipping it's time for a new clutch. Hope this helps.
