Rebuilding a sprayer set up

So a friend has this sprayer wagon I guess you would call it. Has about a 25 foot spray area. Just got a new PTO pump for it since it did not have one. So how do you mount that pump I can not see letting it just sit on the PTO shaft with out some sort of mounting for it. Then after setting that up I have the fun of getting all the nozzles working

If it has the pto hookup right on the pump that's exactly what you do, should have set screws to tighten then a chain to hook to the drawbar to keep it from spinning.

yeah, looks funny, but see them just chained to keep them from trying to spin when you turn on. see bungee cords to hoses in such a way to keep weight off pump.

old,

As the others have said, the pump just sits on the PTO shaft with two chains to hold it from rotating. I have a 3 point mounted , 100 gallon sprayer. It has a filter in a housing on the frame below the tank to keep trash out of the nozzles. You might want to look the unit over well to see if there is a filter anywhere on the sprayer.

Here"s a pic of one way of doing it. I just put a 10-12" iron on it as a lever chained on one end.
