41205 should be your model number, and *44258* is the
serial number. It should be a 1964 4000, with a 172
c.i. engine, in gas, diesel, or LP. The other numbers
are casting numbers.

You mean you dont know if you have a N;NAA;hundred or thousand series???? A picture would help us better than a whole bunch
of numbers....

41205 is the model number
It is a 4000 ag tractor with a SOS trans.

44258 is the serial number
Tractor was built in March 1964

conn6015J is the casting number for the block
172 cu in gas block used from 1960 to 1964

2G10 is the date code for when the block was cast
July 10, 1962

C3NN-7006-B is the casting number for the trans.
SOS Direct Drive Clutch Trans

CONN4024F is the casting number for the rear end

Should look like this.....

Yeah, Sure John it should like like, that but there are very few around that look like they did new!

Can someone help me determine which ford tractor I have and how to decode the model and serial numbers?

There is a US Navy brass plate on the left rear fender with:
Model # - 41205-A-10
Serial # - 71208
Year - 1965.

However, stamped into the transmission right behind the starter are:
660 and 115429 with diamonds on both sides.

I appreciate any help.

Thanks
