Just a nice picture of it...

I finished my urea, broadcast spreading....


not good. I lost it all. hills and 4 inches of rain in 48 hours. It's gone now.

Great picture. That must be a rare bird. Never seen that model in a narrow front. Is that a 4 plow tractor. Looks like right off the show room floor.
 
Nice tractor! First 7000 n/f I've seen. Rears are ??? 18.4x34 Firestones?

Sourgum- 4 or 5 plow, usually 5 depending on your soil. 4-cyl. turbo, rated 83 PTO h.p., but many of them make 90+.
 
I bought a 7000 in the early 70s. I had a swept back wide front and also a narrow front like yours for it. I had a brain fart and sold it. Wish I still had it.
 

Nice tractor, but I've never seen a narrow front either. Some friends of my Dad had two 7000s they farmed with, got to use them occasionally on our land, one a row crop the other a utility. Worlds better than the 6000 we had.

Yep. Its a rare bird. Dad bought it brand new. It now shows 3456 hours.

He was a salesman for ford, he got it with the wide front and the narrow front brand new in 1975. I have the wide front. Going to put it back on soon. We have always kept it clean. The tach cluster just failed this year. Lookimg for a good repair shop. Wish I was older to take better care. I thought it wojuld be young forever.
 

Yeah, I saw where you guys really got hammered compared to us. We got rain, and lots of it, just not at the same rate you folks did.

Kind of lucked out, to the point where this is one of the best corn crops I've seen in years. Tasseled by the 4th and silking out real nice now.
