several years ago , a customer's stepfather passed away, he did hvac work since I could remember, whenever he was out if he would find a old car he would purchase it, and so here's just part of it ,

I haven't talked to her in a long while, seveal cars got sold, and she gave several to some family members, I do know the white and green mercury got a battery and fuel , and it ran, the semi truck was to have had a complete garage tool set in it, and the COE wrecker was sold and paid for on ,Ebay, but the new owner had never picked it up,

Some beautiful machines there. Crying shame.
Most of them would not be worth fixing now.
Would have to be a labor of love.
I see a few I would still try to save!
Great pics by the way.

toadady,

Really, really cool! Great pics - thanks for posting. I could spend days and days there with a camera.

dcarp, you remember them 2 junkyards in Schulenburg owned by brothers that wouldn't sell anything...went by there one day and everything was gone, then found out it all got crushed...talk about a gold mine lost.

Don't recall those, but I'm a newcomer in the 'burg, only been here for about 20 yrs & most of those in the St. John area.
Every Saturday I see 2 brothers heading to town driving an original (ie. faded & rusty) 1961 Plymouth, top speed about 30 mph on a 60 mph speed limit road.

ok,this was back in mid 80's...there was nothin newer than 40's in either yard...i would imagine both brothers long gone by now.

One odd ball caught my eye, mite be the only one in that collection. It was the Fraiser. Almost never see a Fraiser or Kaiser any where. My granddad bought a Kaiser brand new that I rode in many times. clint

old junkyard by Arcade NY owned by a guy who only let a few people in ,or so im told, was auctioned off. Minimum bid $75. As anyone from the western ny area knows what happens to a car left outside for more than a year or two. Most were sunk in so far the floors were rotted out. some did leave intact, the rest were crushed by the local auto wrecker. Cars were from the 40's/50's on up including a couple of Simcas if I remember right. Bill
