As the subject said I don't need any more projects. I have been mowing this place for a few years now. There is a Ford 400 industrial that has been parked in the same spot outside all that time. It has a small disc, and a couple scrapers. The guy I do the mowing for said it came with the property. Is there much value on this tractor? or will I just be buying scrap iron? I really don't need more stuff, but it looks like a tractor that needs a home. Stan

I tall depends on the $$.. Just ask him
what he thinks it's worth. If his price
& the price you have in your mind coinside
then bring it home.
It's like I kinda look for J/D's. But I knew
of a A/C model B been sitting on a piece of
property we farm. Each year it got closer to
the ground, finally I asked, He said if I could
use it take it. So I offerd him 200.00 & he said
no it's yours for the taking... I didn't want
to just take it, but I did & my son in law
had been looking for a wood hauling tractor.
Darn'en if I didn't tinker with it for a few
days & got it running.. How long it sat there I
don't know? But it wasnt' stuck too bad & it
has compression enough to haul wood & the more
it ran the better it run. Rear tires heald air
frts I replaced. Sold to my son inlaw for 600.00
I took the money to the owner told him I sold
it for $600.00 & got it running. I gave him the
money he looked at it & handed me back 400.00.
He said it came with the place, he had it
running once but the frt tires were flat &
really need it for nothing. I then handed the
400.00 to my son in law. Son in law is happy
so was the owner, & saved it from rotting away.
Now it looks like a New Allis Chalmers B.....
