Have a good day and don't drink or eat too much and stay safe......Best wishes from my side of the Big Pond! (where we know how to enjoy a Holiday!)

Thanks. It means a lot to hear it from you. The USA is a very interesting place. It changes every day and is so big that it seems impossible to find common beliefs, but we do. I was in a DC10 flying to California from Ohio. My next two seat passengers were from Ireland. As they looked down at the foothills of the Rockies they asked me how many people lived there. I told them per sq. mile less than one resident as it was 99% national forest, and probably less than one hiker as there were few roads passable by car. It was the most profound moment in their perspective ever. Thanks again, Jim

Samn40,
THANK YOU.

Happy Independence Day to everyone in the U.S. Please remember those who sacrificed and gave us a reason to celebrate this day!

A few pics. Either the tractors did the Toy Story thing (come to life when folks aren't looking)...or my husband lined 'em up to let them get some vitamin D again... OR he is just showing off - but at least is patriotic about it. :)

Hello sweetfeet,

Nice pictures as usual, Some of those machine look like they have plenty of life left in them.
I'd love to start wrenching on some of them, and bring them back to their glory!
I see I have competition with flags display,

Happy and safe 4Th of july............

Guido.

Guido,
Thanks!
The John Deere B and the Farmall F20 are running/working tractors. Husband uses them for mowing waterways and blading the gravel yard, also takes them to threshing and plowing shows.

The Regular will run - maybe by next summer. It is a leisure time project. But he will plow with her one day.

The gentleman's wife that settled this place in 1838 was a daughter of the revolution. Her father was in the revolutionary war. The settler got this farm as payment for his service in the war of 1812.

I am proud to take care of it, and feel honored to be here today.

RIP Zimri and Laura Davis

Harvey 2,

SE MN...Usually is great cropland. But not good farming this year... got snowed and rained on all spring. Crops are way, way behind (IF EVEN PLANTED- many fields are just full of weeds around here). Even my flowers like Asian lilies are blooming nearly a month later than usual.

Main thing that made knee-high by the 4th of July is ragweed. :(
