When (trying to) remove PTO shaft oil seal how can I get out the boss that houses the seal? Forums say to screw on the PTO Cap and pull the boss out after taking the 4 bolts out. Problem is that I don""t have a PTO Cap. Any advice?

Put a bar in the hole of the shaft, and pry shaft, housing and all out, you will have to check the bushing on the shaft anyway, worked at a dealer 10yrs, cat dealer 15 ,never used a cap.

I had to do mine about 10 years ago, it was my first tractor repair. I&T manual said remove the screws and "withdraw" the PTO shaft. I puzzled over that for a while and tried a few things and finally I hooked an implement collar on the shaft, hooked a chain around it and used a 4x4 as a lever and it just popped right out with surprisingly little effort.

Be sure the shaft doesn't have a groove worn
where the shaft seal contacted it, from dirt
around the seal. If so, you'll need a "Speedy Sleeve" or else it will soon leak again.
