A beer. Forgot who, but he was right about the Vickers pump always being airbound if the filter was horizontal, once I finally bought enough old fashioned iron plumbing fittings to get it upright without trashing the grill guard, it works just fine!

How about somewhere over the Manitoba line? Canadian beer gives you your money's worth!

I'm happy you dug up the old post- April? Seemed like Christmas. I am loosing track of time.

Since then I got into this MF 202, that has a vertical canister, with the screen can- and a sock in there. Reminds me of a home water filter- awful tight knit. I am running both with just the screen right now. Let's see how things go when it's back down to 10 below... umph. I don't look forward to that again...
