Trip To Town

Went to town yesterday to see if I could find a decent swather for this season.......done!

However, good news is that I think I finally found that big IH tractor I've been looking for, for the past three years.

This is gonna wrinkle the cornors of the checkbook and test the marriage vows. :>)

I have the same problem when I go to town as well.

I usually end up buying something that I didn"t go to town for in the first place.

But it is usually a hammer or bag of chips or something on the small side.

Not a tractor.

im guilty of that myself, a couple of months ago i stopped at a garadge sale, not to buy but just to look and see what they had for sale, when i left i had to figure out how to get my new/used ford bucket truck home and past the wife lol

So when are you going to post a picture of it? Are you just going to keep us all in suspense?
I just tell my wife, when I buy a piece of equipment, I need it to keep my Farming operation a float. Although she questioned me last time. She didn't think I needed air conditioning and stereo on my tractor.

We didn't get anything last night, but had nearly 3/4 of an inch on Sunday. Since the 1st of June, I think we have had over 8 inches of rain. That is 4 more then we had total last year.
I see the farmers are running their pivots on the corn, trying to get some Nitrogen on.

My last farm equipment purchase like that was a Vicon 7 wheel inline rake. Got almost all the repairs made now and it is greased. This dealer negotiated the price also. He hates for you to leave with money in your pocket so he will deal.
