oil in intake manifold - 9n ford

What is the rest of the story... his it been sitting unused for a while, did someone poor oil in the cylinders to loosen sticky valves, or has it been in regular use? WHY you you have the manifold off?

Sucking it out of the oil bath air cleaner? It could do that if the air intake to the air cleaner was restricted.

GOOD comment... also if rainwater has found it"s way into the oil bath air cleaner, the oil will float on the water, raising the oil level to the point it could get sucked into the carburetor and the intake manifold.

I had some oil in the radiator and the head gasket on the back cylinder was leaking a little so I took it down.

I had some oil in the radiator and the head gasket was leaking on the back cylinder so I took it down but the tractor has been in use and it never sits out in the rain so water good not get into the breather.

Water will build up in the oil cup over time due to condensation if the air cleaner is not regularly serviced.

Maybe the turbo is going bad....OK, that was crazy, but it was the only thing that came to my twisted mind.

Just to add to what others have said, "some" oil in the radiator
on the old N's was pretty common. A sheen from water pump lube.
A leak on the rear cylinder obviously was not normal.
