larry@stines,

Thanks for posting - gives me hope of seeing a blue sky again. Actually we got partly blue yesterday... but now the sky is grey AND leaking again. Sure do wish we could redirect the rain to locations that need it.

Love the stone house, the church turned house, and the hitching post. The long shot with corn in the foreground is really cool too (here the stuff is about 2-3 inches tall... if planted at all). And by golly, looks like you did catch a shot of a UFO. LOL.

Yes, a New Jersey house fly UFO.....( U-F-Off!) LOL
Nice pics...we had lovely blue skies last week but we are back to grey again....

You guys in the eastern US have a lot more neat old buildings than we have here in the plains states. Marilyn has ancestory in Pennsylvania and we plan on heading that way sometime to see what it's like.

My granddad was a building contractor and back in the mid-sixties he bought the old Lutheran church in Blair Nebraska and made a modern ranch style duplex out of it. The building was a conventional old tall wood structure, so he cut the walls down to 8' and put a new roof on it. The basement floor still has the shuffleboard markings. Jim

Larry" your pictures are breathtaking. I truly admire your talented eye for photography. Top flight pictures for calendars. Thanks for the pix.

thanks for the compliment,I never knew much about pictures till I started here on this site.I saw others posting pictures and asked all the fine people on this site questions. My daughter also help me to be able to post them.My skills on the computer are very limited,I would like to take some courses next winter at the county library to be able to do more with the posting.

Larry, you are ruining the national perception that New Jersey, and the Northeast, is all concrete, slums, tank farms, strip clubs, strip malls, diners, asphalt and weeds.

What are you doing? Let them live in ignorance.
