95 F250 clutch push rod

My wifes nephew was driving his truck and the clutch fell to the floor. He shipped out to the navy on monday so I'm gonna fix it and drive it around some while he's gone. I looked and the push rod broke at the eye that goes over the knob on the pedal.

Doing a bit of research found a fix being sold on ebay, basically a tie-rod type eye. Looks like the end gets cut off the rod where it broke, and this thing just clamps on the rod, and it's bolted to the pedal.

Anyone use it or have any suggestions?

Well, just about ANYTHING, if it"s made out of something better than Tinkertoys is better than what Dorf used. Got a "99 at the shop with a similar problem.

Or, just replace the clutch master cylinder, it comes with a new rod. Even that cheap OEM-type crap should last another 100K or so.
