Manifold shield for Farmall A

I am restoring a Farmall A and have obtained a weather shield I wish to put on. What colour should the shield be-Manifold silver or Farmall Red?

can't say for sure, but as far as I know the letter series tractors were all painted the same way: assembled, then sprayed red from top to bottom - not a lot of masking. Wires, hoses ,and all - I'd have to assume the shield wouldn't have been handled any differently.

Even the manifold was painted and just burned off once started.

If it is a piece of sheetmetal that goes over the manifold it is not a weather shield. It heats up the manifold so that you can burn kerosene or distillate. I've never seen one for anything smaller than an h though. It should be red.
