farmall H or 300 engine

i have a farmall H i am restoring and i have got the block taken down ready for the machine shop. would i be better off putting a farmall 300 engine in my farmall H or just leave the H engine on it. i have found a complete engine that i can buy. i am going to buy the head off of the engine and have it rebuilt but thought that mite be a good way to go with a engine swap.

Originality is OK for some (I don't care) If it were mine I would put the 300 engine in it with an over bore kit and fire crater pistons. The live hydraulic pump and more power shure would perk up the H. Jim

If the rest of the driveline on the H will handle it I would go for the 300 engine not super hopped up. That"s if you don"t have to fabricate a bunch of adaptors to install.
If you"re using it all the time, I would make sure its reliable.

would a 300 utility engine go into my H with any problems. i still have my H motor parts to use if i need to use any to make it fit.
