Looking for hay weather

If you find some, better keep it quite or I'll outbid you here in SE MN.

It hasn't been dry enough around here to make silage. I was thinking about cutting a few acres yesterday, but when I tried to open up the field next to my driveway I cut a nice deep ditch with the discbine wheels so I gave up. Forecast now says 5 more days of rain starting in a few hours so I'm kind of glad I did give up.

Iam Just north of Lake Ontario,60 miles. Rain hard here on Sunday. I cut hay Monday, looks good for this week. Lots of standing water aroundon land that is not drained. Lets just keep our fingers crossed for a few days, I want to plant some corn silage into a hay field yet. Bruce

You can have some of ours as long as you send an inch or two of rain my way (but only over the hay fields-no one else around here needs it). After record snowfall this winter, we have had a very dry spring. Good for all the folks that are trying to dry out their properties and get fields seeded, but bad for hay fields. All that fertilizer I put down isn"t doing much without some moisture.
