just a few random shots from PA Saturday, this was across the street, thought you might like to see a super H still going strong. It was a long shot for a picture, but I know it is a super H,one of the farmers down the hill owns it.

Look at that poor guy raking with an obsolete roll-a-bar rake. Every body knows that those don't work LOL.

Thanks for the pictures Larry, they are always a delight to see them.

In light of the bale basket sitting out there, I'm guessing that the farmer also has a much larger tractor that he uses for baling. Sure would be nice.

nice pictures, its always nice to see the old iron still on the job, and while yes there are bigger tractors doing the job today there is something almost relaxing about the sound of a good H under a load on a nice sunny day

In the background of most of your pictures I see conservation that doesnt show in most other places in the country.(excepting JD Seller). In other words there is contour farming, strip cropping, hay in the rotation, crop rotation just good soil conserving practices in each location. Are those practices coming from the PA dutch mindset or an influence from the Amish or where does that mindset originate from. In the Midwest we don't seem that conservation minded. Just till it fence row to fence row here. You sure post some good shots.
