60 acre hillside

Do you still rake hay with an early "B" on steel? Is there a problem of the lugs pressing hay into the ground with the lugs? I have never seen this or much else done with lugs/ I never drove a steel wheel tractor

Yes I do still use it once in a while to rake hay. The small amount of hay you loose is not enough to worry about. Most of the time the ground it dry enough and the hay is dry enough that the rake will pick up what the lugs try to push down
