Hydraulic quick couplers

One of mine leaks when I have a cylinder hose hooked up to it. Is that an O-ring that can be replaced, or is it worn out? How do you replace the o-ring? Just dig it out and install new one or is there some dis-assembly involved?
Thank you

Your don't say what model but any I have done you just do as you said, dig them out. Most have a back up ring also that can really make it fun!

I think most of them are Pioneer. I had bought a new one and it fell apart in a very short time. If an o-ring will fix the problem, it would have to be cheaper and faster.
Thank you

Just about all of the female couplers have a oring and or backup ring that are replaceable. You also need to make sure the male end is not rusty or damaged on the OD. Many times a rusty male coulper end will leak and ruin the female coupler oring.

I changed one in a Pioneer a few weeks ago. After a couple of days, the one I put in was all chewed up and oil was RUNNING out of it. I changed it again and so far so good. I just popped it out with an o-ring pick.
