Onan generator- what's it worth?

This weekend we were pitching bedding out of a barn that is being torn down and relocated. On the side of the barn was an older Onan generator that was powered by a 300-6 Ford engine. Only had 168 hours on the clock. How much would a unit like that be worth?

It was connected to Natural Gas, so there wouldn't be any worry of carb issues like if it were a gas.

One of those things I don't know if the guy would sell, or what his plans are with it.

Need to know the KW rating. The natural gas is good and could be converted to Propane without too much trouble.
 
I'd have to try going back to l look at it. My parents have NG so it'd be a direct hookup after trenching in a new line.

It is going to be a 30KW EK or a 45KW EN. If you can get me the model and serial number. I can tell you what it is.The 30 EK was one of Onans best. Sold them so fast.They had a full time production line going. Most gensets were only built when they had an order for one.Price just depends on what someone will pay.But most go for around 1500.00-2000.00.
