AC B won't spark

I am clueless right now(and an amateur mechanic)

Left ACB for six months and gas gummed up. Started but only ran on choke. Pulled carb, cleaned it up and now I get no spark.

Cleaned plugs, rotor, points. Still no spark. Disconnected on/off switch that grounds out magneto.

Still no spark.

Has a simple generator setup that charges battery and runs headlights but don"t know if that could short anything out.

Any ideas? What am I missing?

I would dig into the magneto or distributor next. Check for water under the cap and clean the points. If it has a magneto, make sure you hear the click of the impulse. Good luck, keep us posted.

First off are you sure it has a mag not a distributor?? If it has a mag double check you got the rotor back on in the right places if it is the gear type rotor. If it does have a mag send me an e-mail and tell me which one it has and I can send you the manual for it by way of e-mail
