I have a leak under my injection pump. It is coming out of a hexagonal plug. Any ideas on what it might be and how to repair. Thanks

A little more info, please. WHAT is leaking... you say the leak is UNDER the IP, (which is mounted vertically)... or, is engine oil leaking from an oil gallery plug, or is diesel fuel leaking from a plug that goes in the side of the IP?

Injection pump tag # would really help.

I don't remember a hex pug on inj pump. Would oil leak be coming from behind hex nut(parts key #20)??

diesel is leaking out of it. It is not actually the injection pump it is a box bellow it which the pump is mounted on

If diesel is leaking out below where injection pump mounts then crankcase must have diesel in it.
