Tractor related as I use winch to load dead ones. I am trying to fine the fuse for the pos wire in the 7 pin trailer plug. The pin at about 1:eek:o a clock. on my 2000 chev is hot and on the 04 it is not. The fuse boxes are not the same. I do not have a wiring diagram for either. I am keeping the battery on the trailer winch charged thru this wire. Any help would be greatly welcomed. Thanks Jim in FL --No-Advertising-in-Forums

I found a diagram for a 2004 fuse block by doing search with Bing. I hope it uploads.

It seems like on my 07 there was a wire under the hood I had to connect. Thanks for reminding me, I traded in March and I need that wire hot on the new one for charging the camper battery.

Pop the cover off the fuse box located on the left inner fender. Inside the cover is a sticker with a diagram of fuses & relays.

You need to put a 40A fuse in the "Stud #1" position in the fuse panel under the hood.

From the factory they come with a dummy fuse/dust cover in that spot.
