I took these pics here in Central NY about 8:30pm. A heavy line of T stormes travling to the north of me. Just sprinkles here, but the tails on these black clouds were reaching all the way to the ground, and were litterally sweeping up dust ahead of them. Gusts never topped 25mph. but it sure was a strange little storm front. Lots of distant lightning and thunder now, and still just sprinkles.

Got a month's worth of rain here today, so far! 2.3". Four storms, hail in three of them. One hail storm was significant, with 1/2" hail piling up, lasting in the yard for an hour.

My Davis weather station says we got .37" today and a current total of 1.14" for the month.
it's pretty dry here.
the uncles should finish planting beans shortly. About 45A to go. Many farmers have already started haying. A lot went down over the weekend.

We had about the same thing to the north of you Loren, about an hour earlier. Of course we were outside in it, trying to get some fencing secured.

Never fails.
