Thought you might like these. They are located in the back hills of Tennessee. Saw them when we were on vacation there a couple of years ago.

LeoinMi,

Fantastic photos!! Thanks for sharing.

Hoping to get to a junkyard after our son graduates then ships out to boot camp... no time until then. So I am missing a lot of great early spring photo ops right now.

A lot of people would latch on to the Chevy in a heartbeat! It looks absolutely restorable. The other one needs a little more TLC. Thanks for posting, I love old iron like that.

Kinda looks like a part from a still doesn"t it. This area was perfect for bootlegging whiskey. Fresh water stream nearby and waaaaay back of the main road.

Two different areas. First couple of pictures were on the Tennessee / North Carolina border.
The Chevy pickup was North of Gatlinburg about five miles back in a field. That truck and the tractor belonged to a guy who was 99yr.old at the time we were there. Neat old guy who did not sell out his land to a nearby condo community. He had about eighty acres left from his family and refused to sell. He has more old vehicles on the property.
