Moore, OK and the southern part of OKC were hit hard just a short time ago by a massive tornado.

Let us know you're ok.

Weather radar shows a nasty system moving through the central US and north.

Gonna be a rough evening, night for a lot of folks.

I suppose those with an ipod or smartphone where there is still cell service will check in, the others will be down for the count, I bet there isn't 20 phone poles left standing in the county. This one was a nightmare-F5? wow
A good time to remind people to drive out to a YT friend's area and check in at roadblock if they can't drive all the way to the house, can't tell what people in a pickle like this might need to even get to sleep tonight- a cold beer, bag of mc doubles, sometimes an old teddy bear for a kid to cuddle. This is the pits....

I just watched the news about the Oklahoma tornadoes. Man what bad storms & mass destruction. My prayers go out for the families.

37 dead so far and searches going on. A number of the dead were school children. This on the Fox news on the internet. Very sad.

The destruction is horrible, both elementary schools were destroyed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of those affected by this storm.

We are ok in our area, about 80 miles from the big one in Moore, OK . A terrible loss of lives and property. Biggest need right now is temporary shelter, food, clothing, PRAYERS.

91 reported dead on Sky news this morning....It is unbelievable for us over here to see that scale of damage. Our thoughts are with those without homes, and more so with those who have lost family.

The poor people of Moore! I just cannot imagine losing loved ones and everything that one possesses in a tornado like that.
