Heidricks Ag History Museum , visited today.

Finishing up a 10 day trip in California , when to the Heidricks Ag Museum and Hays Truck Museum today. Great place, I didn,t know there were so many makes of trucks. On the east coast they rusted away years ago but I guess in dry climate preserved them.
Visited an interesting place yesterday on Route 50 outside Carson City Nv. headed east. It was LUNDS antique equipment and antiques. "Talked with the lady owner for a long time, alot of tractors , gas engines , old mining equipment and stuff.
Alot of old trucks seen around Virgina City area.
My wife and I took the Mule ride in Yosemite, visited the Maraposa grove, Lone Pine, Laws museum in Bishop, the Bristlecone pines and
Brodie ghost town.
Have had a great time ,wish we could stay for the Mule Days in Bishop, Ca next week but have to fly home on Tuesday... Thanks for all the suggestions for places to visit.

The Heidrick/Hays museums are a real delight. Glad you enjoyed them. I had never seen the big Holt tractors til I visited there.

Visited that in 2012 with the Hart Parr Oliver Collectors Assoc. Our winter show was in Sacramento. I could have spent a week in that place.

When we first went to the USA on holiday, our friends did not believe we were going to a tractor and truck museum, followed by the railway museum in Sacramento. We had a brilliant holiday, because we met people with the same interests. Excellent museums, all of them. Phil
